Junior Software Developer
Optiseller is a rapidly growing SaaS e-commerce data analytics business supporting online retailers worldwide and selling more effectively in the e-commerce marketplaces using our Optiseller suite of tools.
We are a Stirling-based established Software Development company, being on the go as Developing IT since 2005 and recently rebranding as Optiseller.
At present we have over 50,000 users of our software tools across 140 different countries.
We are keen to offer a flexible blended approach to working with the opportunity to work between home and our newly kitted out office situated in Stirling with amply free parking and a short stroll from the train station.
We are looking for Junior Software Developers to join our Product and Technology Team where you will continue to learn and develop whilst carrying out roles that will include the maintenance, development, and testing of company software, being involved in daily stand-ups, and contributing to and identifying new project opportunities as well as the best tools to create them.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Developing applications throughout the development life cycle including technical specification, design, unit testing, and system testing
- Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code
- Assisting in multiple customer projects
- Adherence and maintaining engineering best practices t
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
- Degree/Qualification in Software Engineering or other related subjects
- Proficient with at least one modern programming language (Java, C#, Python)
- Understanding of good programming practices such as SOLID principles
