Senior Tester
(£36,000 - £42,000/annum +Bonus, Pension Contribution, Private Health Care & other Benefits)
We are seeking a Senior Tester/QA manager to join our expanding team and become part of one of the country’s most exciting technology growth businesses, working either from home or (once permitted) from our Stirling base.
Optiseller is a leading eCommerce data analytics business, helping online retailers across the world sell more effectively in eCommerce marketplaces such as eBay using our Optiseller software tools.
We have been expanding quickly – we already have 30,000 users of our Optiseller platform in 140 countries – and recent events have accelerated our expansion.
About the Role
You will be responsible of the management of all software testing projects and resources with some of your responsibilities including the following:
- Formulate/review software testing strategies
- Create test strategies based on project and productive objectives
- Create logs to document testing phases and defects
- Collaborate closely with development teams reporting on bugs and errors
- Conduct post release/post implementation testing
- Analyse test results and test metrics
- Present test plans and reports
- Work with cross functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
- Train/allocate and support testers according to business requirements
About You
- Proven experience as a Test Analyst/Engineer/QA Tester in a similar role
- Working knowledge of test management software
- Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing
- Ability to document and troubleshoot errors
- Analytical mind
- Strong organisational skills
- Attention to detail
